For 2023, The International Surface Event (TISE) is back in Las Vegas welcoming guests both in-person or virtually and SPEEDlabel® will be in the thick of things from their home in booth 3659.
TISE 2023 takes place from January 31 through February 2 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center as well as online through a hybrid TISE Live Virtual Event—Vegas Edition 2023. Set on a 120-acre property directly on Las Vegas Boulevard with an 11-acre wave pool lined with real sand beach, Mandalay Bay is guaranteed to kick your January and February up a notch or two. Especially as Vegas boasts 294 sunny days a year, well over the national average of 205 and Seattle’s whopping 152.
Did you know that historically large-scale tradeshows like this can be traced back to medieval Europe? Industry research explains that they began primarily in France’s Champagne region as multi-week gatherings to buy and sell spices, fur, leather, and goods. But they also swapped information, ideas, culture, and built relationships that spread across the region and eventually the world.
Those same experts say that 21st-century shows exist for making sales, naturally, but also for capturing leads, introducing new products, trendspotting, and gathering all-important user feedback. But TISE 2023 isn’t just a labyrinthine convention hall of booths and businesses. Attendees can add informative seminars to their registration as well. This year they cover topics like video strategies for social marketing, using CGI technology to bring customer designs to life, science in design, people management, branding, improving leads and sales, or industry updates on color and material trends, product updates, and legal contracts.
There will also be tandem events like a Women’s Leadership Conference, new attendee reception, and certification programs from the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), International Certified Floorcovering Installers (CFI), Natural Fiber Council Institute (NFCI), and Natural Wood Flooring Association (NWFA).
